Mercruiser Alpha One Motor Engine 175 HP V-6, 4.3 Liter Running Engine

For sale is a very nice running 4.3 liter complete Mercruiser engine. This engine was removed from a 1990 Mach One boat that suffered stringer and floor rot. This engine was only used in a fresh water environment. There was no hour meter present on the boat.

Dry compression readings were 170-175 PSI all cylinders.

This engine has a two barrel carburetor.

Carburetor was rebuilt, including new OEM float. fuel pump filter was replaced, as well as distributor cap, rotor, and spark plugs.

OEM thermostat kit installed, both belts were also replaced.

This engine is factory equipped with the Mercruiser electronic ignition system.

This engine will work for generation one, and generation two applications. This engine is standard rotation.

The engine was run on the test stand for well over an hour. Engine parameters were monitored. Ignition timing, Oil pressure, temperature, alternator output were all within factory specs.

Engine oil and filter were then changed.
